A Toronto Coach and NHL players join forces to take hockey training online

Hockey Tips

The current pandemic has forced hockey players out of the rinks, but leaders in our strong hockey communities have been finding ways to ensure that training can continue and that players can stay active.

HS Ambassador and skills coach, Jim Vitale was recently featured on Canadian national news showcasing how hockey and coaching have adapted in these current times. Thanks to his program, and to other coaches who have been moving their training sessions virtually, kids have been able to continue their skills development and stay in shape for when their seasons eventually resume.

Jim’s program has featured instruction from hockey stars such as NHL players Aaron Ekblad, Michael Del Zotto, Tanner Pearson and Wayne Primeau. Alongside also Women’s Hockey Olympic Gold Medalist Hayley Wickenheiser, up and coming NHL prospects like Akil Thomas and more! He’s continually adding more talent to his sessions so stay tuned for who he will be featuring next.
