"I run central hockey academy in Toronto, at George Bell arena and Westwood arena. Part our facilities is a shooting area on synthetic ice. The rebounder has been an incredible addition to the program. Practicing one-timers, adding give and go options to shooting instruction and learning really takes the shooting component to a new level. Having the rebounder be reliable and accurate is critical so people don't waste their time while shooting. I'm very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking to use professional level equipment at an affordable price. ** It is a bit light in weight and the sharp pegs still don't stop it from sliding on synthetic ice from time to time. I added a weight on top of it so it doesn't move."

Why won’t the base of my defender sit flat on the ice/ground? When I insert the metal portion into the base it lifts part of the base off the ground.

The 4 slots in the base make the Rush Defender compatible with our Speed Deke. Combine the Rush Defender and Speed Deke in a variety of ways to create your own unique stickhandling training tool.
What skills can I develop with the Rush Defender?
The Rush defender was designed to develop your skating skills with a focus on speed, agility, and proper technique. The rush defender also helps develop puck handling skills, especially high speed puck handling. Remove the strap and you can use both defenders for stick handling or shooting drills.
Will the Rush Defender move if I hit it?
While it is possible for the Rush Defender to move if hit by pucks or sticks, the heavy rubber bases were designed to stay in place. The bases have 2 retractable spikes if you really want to anchor them into the ice.
