Reviews

not the best quality

"wish it was a lot heavier. very light"

Tyler H. (1/5)

Decent, could be better

"First, let me say that it does a great job of passing the puck. It works especially well with the hockey shot puck. The downside is pretty big for me though: There needs to be a way to attach it to the edge of the hockey shot tiles. I bought this to use with the tiles and it just doesn’t work. It lifts the tile up so that it’s not level and the puck winds up bouncing. If hockeyshot could make either a version that attaches to the edge of the tiles or clips between them, that would be fantastic."

I bought for my grandson

"I bought for my grandson as a gift but I plan on getting some use out if it also. I've used one several times and I do find it useful for improving my accuracy in passing and quick handling after receiving a pass."

Manuel B. (5/5)

All good. Great service, timely

"All good. Great service, timely shipping, great gear! Very pleased!"

Kirby H. (5/5)

Mounts easily to rigid shooting pad

"I bought this rebounder to practice my one timers. It works fine clamped on to my 30” x60” shooting pad. I am very happy with it. I didn’t go with the larger roll up pads or squares because I wanted to keep it simple. I keep it permanently attached to the pad and pull it out of the garage with the rope I installed by drilling a coupe of holes in the unit"

Kathleen Q. (5/5)

Great rebounder!

"Nice addition to our backyard shooting pad. Easy to attach/detach, great action on the rebounds, and low profile. Seems well built too!"

Kevin B. (5/5)

Good for the money

"Purchased the clamp on rebounder - works well on the synthetic ice for passing back and quick one-timers in close. Was on sale and received a good price."

"Nice tool to work on release."

Q&A

Can a heavyweight pick be used with extreme passer?
Hi, While you can use a heavy weight puck with the passer, we typically recommend the dangle puck or dryland puck. The heavy weight puck is usually used more for developing shooting skills.
Is there a replacement bungee cord for the 24”. My son just received his and sliced it with a sharp edge. I’m worried it may fray and tear?
Sorry to hear about the bungee cord. Unfortunately we do not sell replacements at this time. Please send an email to customersupport@hockeyshot.com with some images of the passer and cord so we can escalate to our product team. They may have a solution for you :)
Can it be installed at an angle or does it have to be on a straight edge?
The Extreme Passer should lay flat on the passing surface so that the puck does not pass below the bungee. You can pass on an angle as you would off the puck boards, however it is best to pass straight on for power and accuracy.
Where can the Extreme Passer used? How does it stay in place?
The Extreme Passer needs to be clamped on to a Shooting Pad, Flooring Tiles or Synthetic Ice. Wherever your training surface goes, the Passer can follow! Once your surface is set up, clamp the Passer anywhere on the outer perimeter, on a straight edge. Insert the two metal clamps under the surface and tighten the two black knobs. Once the passer is properly secured, it will not budge.
