Easy to dent
"I ve matched this backstop with the indestructible net. The backstop post are thinner and easy to dent. However it does a good job to stop the pucks. I don't know how long it will last. . . reason why I give 3 stars."

"Thread/netting frayed and broke within 3 days of getting it"
"Amazing! Saves me on broken walls , dented doors and windows . It really stops the pucks from traveling all over especially if you have a strong shot and shoot from a big distance. Fast delivery. Great quality on every item that we bought from Hockey Shot in past too. as usualGreat costumer service. Thank you Hockey Shot."
"It’s a Christmas present so I’m not sure exactly how it will work right now but my service was completely excellent and the purchase came quite quickly thank you"
"A friend of mine has this set up. Well made."
"It works"
"Love how it stops my pucks from hitting the windows. It has a really durable frame and the design looks good with my net. Fits good too."
"For reference, I bought this to attach to one of Hockey Shot's Indestructible goals. After set-up, I shot about 40-50 pucks wide/high of the net to test out the backstop's effectiveness. I'll list pros/cons and then provide a more in-depth write-up below. Pros: 1) Customer Service team was great responding to me 2) Fits perfectly around the goal frame 3) L-shape design stops pucks other backstops won't after puck flies off posts 4) The sides can be angled out more in front of the goal to really make sure you don't get pucks ricocheting all over the place 5) Stringing the netting is much faster than doing the same for the goal! 6) Plenty of rope is provided for stringing and you can decide whether you want the net to be more taut (pucks will be bounce back at you) or loose Cons: 1) Pieces 5 and 6 (the two topmost on the left side of the frame) didn't fit properly in my original box. I received replacements really quickly, though. 2) The netting that runs between the two side frames (above the crossbar) isn't really designed that well and requires more work than what's outlined in the instruction manual. 3) The frame isn't heavy enough. If it gets hit with enough shots, it will get pushed back and start to angle behind the goal, which drastically reduces the effectiveness of the L-frame. When I received the product, I was unable to put the left side of the frame together because two of the pieces didn't fit. It wasn't a huge deal, as those things happen, plus HS got me replacements within a few days. The biggest upside to this product is that it fits snugly around the net itself. You don't have to worry about pucks that narrowly miss the frame passing through any small opening. Additionally, the L-shape design prevents pucks that hit posts from ricocheting off to the sides and hitting my fence/garage door. The side frames can be angled in and out very easily, which gives you a lot more protection on the side and increases the effectiveness of the L-shape. While affixing the netting to the side frames is straightforward, the piece above the crossbar requires a bit more handiwork. You need to pull the top rope well beyond what's recommended (the top inside corners, as shown in the product's picture on the site) to make sure the top doesn't sag down. If it does, you're losing several inches of protection. I ended up pulling the rope about halfway down the left side frame in order to make sure it was taut. Getting the bottom rope taut is even more difficult, as you don't have any place to go with it aside from the insides of the side frames. This left the part of the netting immediately above the crossbar super loose and would have let pucks pass through, so I had to affix it with zip ties to the hooks on the goal frame in order to make sure it was doing its job. Lastly, I'm not sure the product is heavy enough. I shoot relatively hard (probably slap shot in the 80s and snap shot 15-20mph slower) and have encountered two problems. The first is that the side parts of the frame slowly get driven backwards when pucks fly into them. Maybe this is exacerbated by stringing the netting on them more tightly, as they aren't able to absorb impact, but it's something to keep in mind. And second is that the zip ties I used on the netting above the crossbar snapped pretty immediately and put me back in the bind of it being loose. I ended up buying metal zip ties and will test their effectiveness later. Overall the idea behind the product is incredibly smart and the L-shape design is superior to others on the market. That being said, there are some design flaws that prevent me from giving this a better rating. I think it'd be an incredibly effective product for younger kids, as some of the issues I have with it would be eliminated/mitigated just by them not shooting as hard. This will still work fine for me, but may require more upkeep than I was hoping for."
